LDOF Amazon Link January 08, 2020, 07:30:54 pm I am currently in a discussion with a LDOF member in regards to the Amazon Support link provided. I mentioned the following in regards to providing forum support through Amazon purchases: “ Once you close your Amazon page the link between Amazon and LDOF is terminated. Opening your Amazon page after that will no longer result in an automatic donation to the forum if a new purchase is made at that point.“Is this an accurate statement?Kent

I copied the URL I use into a file and compared it with the URL currently liked to the LDOF website.The LinkIDs differ.I repeatedly opened and closed the browser and copied the URL each time.The URL, including the LinkID was the same each time, so it does not get a new one each time. I wonder if the older one that I use is properly allocating contributions. Re: LDOF Amazon Link Reply #2 – January 08, 2020, 11:13:35 pm To ensure credit is given for LDOG use, either enter Amazon via the link on the LDOG home page or paste the LDOG Amazon link in your favorites bar on your browser homepage. I have done that and just compared the link on my homepage favorites bar to the one on the LDOG homepage and they are the same.If others have tips to simplify this process, please chime in.Chris
