Tire load rating December 07, 2019, 04:23:57 pm Ugh, I should have known to look, this happened before with a VW Bus when I first got it and went to a tire shop. They put on passenger load range B tires instead of C or D. Since then I get D. I bought my LD less than two weeks ago. The used car dealer noted how he paid extra to get the 6 truck tires on there. From what I can see they might not be the right ones. They are Tornel 225/75R/16 103/100 Q. From what I can see they are Load range C and from what I read in the companion they should be Load Range E.

It was probably too late, around closing time and he truly takes a day off on Sundays and doesn't respond. On Monday I will be calling. I want to see if a tire shop made the mistake or if he did. It was sold as is, but with the internet and online reviews such as Google I can give a very honest one that wouldn't look good. He pointed out how he had to pay a lot to put the right tires on it. We have a nice tire shop half way out here to the country that we have used for many repairs and a full set of tires now on 3 vehicles in the short 3 years we have lived here. I will also check with them on Monday. Maybe he will give me something for the ones on there now, they probably have under 50 miles on them. I will probably get an All Season Highway type, Load range E of course 1 Likes
