The caravan was almost a month long. All the way to Cabo and back.

Thanks for posting that great photo, Don. I still remember how disappointed I was, having to cancel my reservation at the last minute due to emergency cervical surgery.

Looks like a fantastic trip.  Haven't been there since my VW bus days.    When you going again???

The Baja trip, organized by Pete Reed, was eleven years ago,
We knew many who attended and watched a slide show about the trip, over two nights at a LD Caravan.
It looked like a great time, I doubt if Pete is ever leading another Baja trip. sigh.

May have to look into it.  I retire late next year I'll have a lot more time then.  Would love to spend the winter along the beach.

It costs nothing to share some memories, so.....

That's Pete's rig in front of us. You will notice how narrow the road is and it's that way all the way down.
Dorothy's yak on one of the most scenic beaches.
We paddled the yaks out to the southernmost point at Cabo.

“Silver Twinkie”, is that a thing? I looked everywhere for one in your photos until I noticed the Airstream. Helll-ooo!

Reminds me of Felix The Cat when I was a kid. I always thought the bad guy was “The Master Cell-in-dur” until one day while working on my ‘61 VW and thought, “Hah! Master Cylinder. Now it makes perfect sense”. https://youtu.be/H4VKMaG8awk
