Greg - I have seen people do cat litter boxes in outside bins (easier to clean) with a doorway to that spot from inside,
In out TK model the small bin at the entry door below the batteries would work great with an entry in the stairway.
Or separate a portion of the space under a coach in the back lounge area with an inside entry.
Might be worth thinking how you will use the storage bin areas and where they are located in the current models.

Thanks, Jane. I’m hoping there will be a Mid-Bath on display when we visit the factory in October so we can decide on litter box placement options. I’m thinking the shower stall might be the way to go because of the ventilation in the bathroom but will keep an open mind to other areas.

Another item to add to my list of questions! 🤔

Many years ago, someone here placed the cat box in one of the exterior storage bins and cut a cut door through one of the benches to allow access.
Vents were installed in the exterior bin door to control odor. It seemed like a good fix if you can convince your cat to cooperate and it keeps the mess outside of the interior.
For our last house cat, I built a box with a flip-up cover, for easy access when cleaning. In the back of the box was motion detector that turned on a large computer fan that was ducted, with dryer hose, to a window. This mostly eliminated any odors and the cat adapted to it very quickly.

I put my cats litter box in the shower, and had a handy friend install a cat door in the door of the LD bathroom. That way I don't have to worry about leaving the door open for the cat. The cat door also has a panel that I can slide into the cat door that shuts it closed, so if I need to lock my cat in the bathroom for some reason I can do it.
I found a 'corner' shaped cat litter box with high sides on Amazon that fits in the shower of my TK and even matches my bathrooms color scheme.

We had the factory install an opening and door on the dinette isle area behind the passenger seat on our 2017 MB. We removed the door and put a curtain up. The cats go through the curtain to use the box. To clean, simply lift the seat and you have access to box.
