1998 LD w/new Paint Scheme
I was browsing the Media files and came across this 1998 30' model with the updated paint scheme. Note the air horns on the roof!

I think that is actually a mashup of a SOB paint job with the new LD paint scheme.  Cabover is white on the new LD's.  I do like the air horns though......

I agree it is different and likely something they did on their own.  Striping is not quite the same and even the background color is different.  But yes, it looks similar to the new paint pattern.

Just a note about airhorns. (OK that was a pun!)  The two horns of the Ambassador 26" and 29" need to be placed close to each other. The two tone 'notes' beat against each other to produce the harmonics, and most importantly the sub harmonics. This multitude of tones plus harmonics are what make them the most heard. While many times I want to use them, (Bluebelle has the Hadley Ambassador set), most of the time they are just toooo! loud. Pleasant sounding but loud. I've heard that there may be laws in some places to prohibit use. The number of times I've used them for actual emergencies, just a handful of times, so I guess it was worth it.  The 7 gallon air tank is handy for self tire filling, etc.  Yes rats are particularly attracted to the rubber hoses. It looks like a Winnebago, no idea why anyone would insult a Lazy Daze by doing this.

Well, at least they didn't paint it like this Winnebago!
