Re: These are radial tires? Reply #2 – July 25, 2019, 06:21:41 pm The tread does not identify radial/bias-ply. The differences are with the internal construction. As Larry said, take a pic of the sidewall info. If radial, there will be an 'R' in the size designation.Steve 2 Likes

Reply #4 – July 26, 2019, 01:06:36 pm The tires are radials; bias ply tires were standard equipment on most vehicles until the late 70s, but are not common these days except for a few specific uses from very few manufacturers. You can do a search on the differences between radial and bias-ply tire construction.

Most older rigs solve the problem by swapping out the 16.5" rims for the more common 16" ones, and mounting 225/75R16 load range E tires on those. The tires on your rig now cost $160 each unmounted at TireRack.Steve
