drivers side seat cushion recommendations
I have a 1989 Lazy Daze 22 RB which I am finally going to get some use out of. Last year I was laid up with cancer so both treatment and recovery took the better part of 12 months. God smiled on me. I am cancer free. So now I get to go and explore the state of Washington and maybe even take a trip to Minnesota this coming Fall.

The coach is in excellent shape and I have had many upgrades done to it in the suspension and engine areas. I am cranking out about 290-300 HP now as apposed to the wimpy 190 of the original engine configuration.

The drivers side seat supported a 6'7'' 275 lb man for about 25 years of its life and is in serious need of a rebuild although the material is still in darned good shape. I only weigh 160 lbs and am 5'7" so I need to find an additional seat and back cushion to take some of the strain out of driving any appreciable distance without frequent stops.

Recommendations- preferable something with a massager build into it.??

Thank you.

As long as the seat's material is in good shape, an auto upholstery shop should be able to remove the covers and rebuild the foam rubber cushions, possibly adding a foam lumbar support.  Not sure if the Magic Finger option is available .
If the seat is badly broken down, replacing the foam is the preferred  way to go, allowing you to sit straight and regaining the lost seat height.
The Chevy G30 seat are shaped differently than the Ford seats, hopefully other G30 owners will clime in on what shape cushion works well .
I use this cushion in our LD's barrel chairs and it should be a close fit for the Chevy seat, it will raise you about 2"

The Ford seats have a high front lip that can cut into the back of the thigh, causing pain and numbness. To deal with the seat's high front lip, we use cushions to fill the depression in the rear of the seats..
This is what I have used for several years.

The Ford seats can be too high off the floor for those with short legs. Our LD's passenger side floor has been raised almost 2", using a wood insert under the floor mat.
My wife needs additional lumbar support and uses an inflatable lumbar cushion, the same one she uses in her sea kayak.
The cushion's pressure is easily adjustable, using a small valve.

You can replace the seat cushion yourself if able. I got a new seat cushion for my 97 Ford from here...www.theseatshop.com. I love the new cushion. They have videos on how to replace it.
