1995 Lazy Daze 22 ft. Rear Lounge:
1995 LAZY DAZE MOTORHOME - rvs - by owner - vehicle automotive sale

It is really a TK ( Twin King ), or may be called a 'rear dinette'.  The rear lounge has barrel chairs on one side instead of the couch.  Wish I had the stainless steel sink.  Looks to be in excellent cosmetic condition.  RonB

Wish I had the stainless steel sink.

AFAIK, none of the older LDs had stainless steel sinks.
There were none what would fit correctly, all the available SS sinks were too deep to connect to the drain.
I installed one SS sInk, in an 2001 T/K and it required a lot of plumbing modifications to get the sink to drain correctly.
One was more than enough.
I'm interested in measuring LD's new stainless steel sink, installed in the latest models, to see if it is a direct replacement.
Many older, acrylic sinks having cracking around the drains and are badly stained. A relatively easy to install, direct replacement SS sink would be great. Removing an old sink can be an exercise in patience.

If any owners of a new LD, with the stainless kitchen sink, would measure the SS sink's dimensions and post them here, it would be appreciated.

The last picture on the '95 TK mentioned has a stainless steel sink. I knew a couple with a '96 MB, that came with a SS sink. I was surprised that my '99 came with the white plastic sink. A cost cutting measure, along with two incandescent lights in the cabover instead of the previous years' florescent fixture, cheaper 'finger hazard' latch to connect the extension table....  RonB

1993 Rear Bath in Mesa, Arizona:
Advertised as 24 ft but I think it's a 26.5 ft. I wonder whether the blurry pictures are on purpose...

It's 26.5' Rear Bath, built on the light weight E350 chassis, with the low 11,500-GVW, instead of the E450's 14,000+ GVW.
Real easy to overload one of these models, beware .

Pics are terrible. Text is just as bad.  Sometimes I wonder if Craigslist charges for punctuation (commas, periods, etc) but I know they don't.  It just makes text readable, why bother.

Our 89 TK also has double stainless steel sinks - about 4-5 inches deep (measuring inside of sink, not how far it extends into the cabinet).  I would guess they and the faucet are original....

I can't imagine having only 11,500 with a mid bath.  In our TK, it is easy to reach that limit and we have 4' less of coach.

Correction, early, pre-2000 LDs did have stainless kitchen sinks, including our 1983 LD
In 1999 or 2000, LD switched to the cast acrylic sinks and have continued until now, when they switched back to stainless,
It's a big improvement for long-term usage.

I would imagine many of these rigs were and are constantly overloaded, it's too much MH for a lightweight chassis, IMO
You will find its has smaller brakes, no rear sway bar and a much lighter suspension.
The only upside is, being lighter and having a different rear axle ratio (4.11 vs. 4.56), it should get slightly better mileage

Interesting price dynamics - there seems to be two distinct markets:

1. Fully beat & worthless that are appropriately priced for the motor-homeless segment;

2. Nicely maintained and (relatively) expensive for those looking for a quality RV. Anybody have any thoughts about potential buyers retreating away from the RoadTrek fiasco? LD begins to look even better when one considers the depth & breadth of knowledge & support.

I'm thinking if I decided to sell mine, I may shoot for the Burning Man segment. Perhaps its chief selling point is that practically every engine/chassis element is new, so it actually drives unreal.

We're not far from the mid-bath listed in Colorado - would appreciate any guidance on questions to ask, what it might actually be worth if we were to go look at it.

Thanks!

Do check the used LD “price chart”; the link is on the home page of the forum. Even if the 2006 is in very good shape, it’s significantly overpriced.

Yes, this mid-bath seemed overpriced to my husband as well.
Where would I find the used LD price chart? Can someone point me in the right direction?

Found Greg Harvey's (HiLola) PDF file with prices compared to 2019.
Thanks so much for this - What a wonderful resource!

NADA has a base price of $22,500 for a 2006 mid-bath and at 49,800 mile this added $3825 to the value or about $27k.

By Greg's spreadsheet the mid-bath seems to be overpriced - seller is asking $52k, spreadsheet shows it should be more like $30k.

Curious if being a 50th Anniversary edition adds anything to the value?

Kit, you have to account for any additions, upgrades, etc. ..all new tires; new AGM batteries, solar, etc. but yes it seems pretty over priced..[does it have a new re-built tranny? Engine? Brakes, Front end work, paint? Re-roofed?] Does the ad show any of this? At 09:19 AM 4/21/2019, you wrote:

Hi Kit,
I would think that the Anniversary models would be worth more, given the rarity. How much more is the question? I don’t know what the difference was when they were new but perhaps a forum member will educate us. Remember, the guide is just a starting point for consideration. This particular unit appears to be in excellent shape (pending proper inspections) and the mileage is quite low so it might be worth pursuing negotiations.  Good luck!
