Re: Breaker for Suburban Furnace '84 LD 22TK Reply #1 – February 11, 2019, 04:43:52 pm The furnace is 12V, so it is on a fused circuit. You say there is power to it, so I assume that means you have measured 12V at the wires that attach to the unit. If that is the case, you will have to pull it out to check the circuit board - there may be another fuse there. The propane line should have a valve at the furnace you can turn off before disconnecting.Steve 1 Likes
Re: Breaker for Suburban Furnace '84 LD 22TK Reply #2 – February 11, 2019, 06:04:00 pm Nothing happens instantly on the furnace. When the tstat calls for heat there is a delay then the blower motor starts and runs a short purge cycle after which, if sail switch is made the solid state control board will open the gas valve and ignition hopefully takes place. The board then proves flame and the furnace runs till the stat cycles off. How far does your furnace get? If not at all, check the fuse in the converter and look at the furnace for a fuse. It'll be there somewhere.Jon....

Re: Breaker for Suburban Furnace '84 LD 22TK Reply #5 – February 11, 2019, 11:03:36 pm Try to jump at the furnace instead of at the thermostat. See what happens. If it works, there is a disconnect between thermostat and circuit board on the furnace. Bad wire, bad fuse, etc. Paul
