I prefer to glue the fans in place rather than using mounting tape, for a more permanent seal.Larry 1 Likes

Could I Eternabond tape it then use glue for the install on top of the tape? Thanks Larry.

(In an emergency you can use a shower curtain for roof repairs, but if it has a soap film, tape may not adhere well.)

I'll leave it clamped over 24 hours.Tomorrow an order of 2 cartridges of 3M fast cure 5200 arrives with which I'll lay a bead down and then screw the fan housing into place.I'm comfortable with this solution.
