The appliances have their own warranties and some may be transferable for a fee.

I'm assuming there's one on the powertrain from Ford?
Does LD have any on their build or appliances?

We bought our 06 from the original owner 7 months after they bought it. The Ford warranties remain good unless that has changed. We bought our Subaru Forester when it was a year old and those warranties transferred as well. I suspect that is common for vehicle drivetrains.

As with any company facing liability of services and products manufactured for sale, Lazy Daze does its best to protect itself. While they are very well made and they stand by their work, they put all warranty limitations and company liabilities in writing in the final pages of the LD owners manual.

The one thing that is covered for the life of the original owner is the frame. This, too, is well defined in the manual.

Ancillary items such as microwave ovens, stoves and rooftop AC’s are not terribly expensive to replace and purchasing any extended warranties on such items, in my opinion, is money wasted (personal experience here) although they may, on occasion, pay off.

Here are a couple of screen shots from our owners manual that cover what LD is willing to cover. Keep in mind that even LD itself sets time limitations on what they will fix for the original owners.

Hi Kent, thanks for that first picture. "second-hand owner" essentially takes away all warranty. The individual items are between you and the manufacturer; Fridge, A/C, vents, fans, door locks, microwave, etc. RonB
