Why does the link to this website show up as "Entegra owner's forum"?
I have recommended this site to several people on a facebook Lazy Daze page. However, every time I provide a link it  shows up as "entegra owners forum." What is that?

Doesn't do it here, but try putting it in a facebook post or in a message, and you'll see what I mean.

It makes me look really sketchy!!

Since we didn't hear from those responsible for maintaining the HTML for the LDO Forum, my best guess would be this "error" was a temporary problem perhaps related to errors in DNS servers or errors in this Forum's HTML headers.  The folks who maintain the LDO Forum also provide the same service for several other RV forums.  Just guessing ...

P.S.  I'd also suggest to the friends to clean their browser's cache if they haven't already done so.  I'm betting the LD link is working for them now.

I just copied the LDOF link into my FB page and an ad for the Entegra Owner's (sic) Forum popped up right beneath it. It appears our link is working just fine and FB is piggybacking a content related ad on our forum. No reason for Lisa to feel sketchy anymore.  :)

It's gone from most of the page source, but there's still one reference buried in the metadata:

<meta property="og:url" content="https://entegracoachforum.com" />

Since the pages are generated from a back end database, the webmaster will probably find it hiding there.

Also, the footer indicates that the software is seriously out of date:

    powered by ElkArte 1.0.10 | SimplePortal 1.0.0 Beta 2 © 2008-2014 | credits

Current version of ElkArte is 1.1.3. Current version of SimplePortal is 2.3.7

As a best practice, all web hosting software and plugins should be updated regularly -- almost anything this old likely has unpatched vulnerabilities.

That is incorrect.  The current version of the 1.0 line is 1.0.10 released April of last year.  It was intended to be the last in the 1.0 line unless a security bug was found or reported.   None have been so it has remained at revision 1.0.10 in maintenance mode.  The 1.0 line has been around for several years and is very stable with a large selection of plugins.

1.1.x however is "new" , released in October of last year, and 1.1.1, 1.1.2 and 1.1.3 were all rapidly released security fixes for issues found only in the 1.1 line.  There is also a 1.1.4 due in early June.  I don't like updating until I see stability in both the core software and the selection of plugins.   1.1 also makes some changes to the user interface so it would not / will no be a transparent update to the end users.  SimplePortal is at the latest version for 1.0 as area all of the plugins in use.

Thanks for the report, It should be fixed.  The Open Graph protocol in the theme pointed to the wrong spot only when linking to the site front page AFAIK.  Blame copy and paste when I added OG support to the theme.

This is also incorrect.

Heisenberg's placement of the reverse truncated vessel clamps only mirrors today's modern encabulators. The encabulators of the videos era simply did not possess the necessary dingle arm movement or precision to facilitate proper macro-seismic fumble detection at today's needed resolutions.

Also unilateral phase detractors synchronizing with cardinal grammeters without magnetic flux disturbance is seriously dated technology.

Don't look for it too early in June.  The current version of the crashcading style sheet driver had malware incorporated in the base code.

Where did you read about that, could you please supply a link?  I follow the development and have not seen any mention of this so want to know more.

And thanks to the continuing efforts of Greg, Joel, & Steve C. I'm getting smarter...and smarter...and smarter   ;) --or maybe it's reversing my vertical disability & my legs are getting longer...and longer...and longer...   ::)

I have been trying to figure out how to rig a spray tank on the brush hog so that I don't have to detach the brush hog from the tractor, but I'm not sure how to combine this with the precision ag equipment they discuss on RFD TV's Ag PhD program.   ???

Keep it rolling...maybe I'll find a version of the encabulator that can be adapted to upgrade my 1974 Ford 4000 SU.    ;)

I found this youtube video that might give you an idea Sprayer & Mower. I know it's not a bush hog.

I guess your LD  differential doesn't have a PTO hence the tractor.   ;)

Wow. I apparently forgot to subscribe to my post and didn't know there had been a reply til  I logged on.
I enjoy seeing where these threads go. Kind of a stream of consciousness type of thing.

Joel--

Love the video (especially the shots from underneath the mower deck) & the soundtrack--almost enough to cause tractor & mower envy (Case IH red is much preferred to John Deere green--my kids' dad used a IH Farmall 1066); however, like the retro look of the LD with traditional stripes, the faded blue of Dad's 4000SU seems to fit me (& it's an easier ascent for my vertically-challenged legs)--and also sets off the bright red of the Bush Hog nicely.  ;D

I wouldn't know the differential on the LD from a differential equation (it was the grace of God that got me through the grad stat class for my M.Ed. in counseling; after writing my comps in '77, all I remember is the normal curve/SD/SEM/significance at .01...& I couldn't compute a one of them to save my life  :P ).  I know the purpose of the PTO to transfer power to implements, but am so thankful the friend who sold me the mower didn't just deliver it, but helped me hook it up (hence my reluctance to detach & why another tractor would be nice).

Sorta figured out how to improvise & jerry-rig the tank with some Girl Scout knots--or maybe Granny knots.  The line for the pump to the battery was about 6' too short...trip to the Wizards of Westlake's (local Ace hardware) where they recommended & provided  the necessary lengths of red & black wire/wire nuts /riction tape & off I went to splice in the extension.  Hooked it all up & no joy, farmer neighbor wasn't home, so I've removed the pump from the side of the tank & the spliced line & tomorrow will find someone to tell me what I did wrong (black to black & red to red are correct, but maybe something happened to the fuse over the winter (doubtful)...I've read the discussions on here about how to check for continuity, but that's on a par with me computing a SD  :P ).

Anyway, thx for the video--enough rambling for now--oh, there's another squirrel to chase...

If an E450  were to be equipped with a PTO (power take off),  the power would access from the transmission, through an adaptor that drives a hydraulic pump.  Bigger F-series trucks commonly have PTOs for lifts, pumps and other devices that require larger amounts of  power.
