Black/Gray Tank Vent Caps May 22, 2018, 11:24:02 pm I've watched a few YouTube videos to include one from the RV Geeks about various kinds of vent caps for their black/gray tanks. I'd be very interested to know if anyone has replaced the OEM metal vents caps on their LD with any of the after-market vent caps. Btw, the RV Geeks recommend the RV 360 Siphon Vents in their video. At any rate, thanks in advance for any guidance pro or con!

That video from RV Geeks contains a very nice review of the benefits of their recommended vent cap. I couldn't explain it any better than the RV Geeks. Tiz worth a watch.

A few years ago I discovered one of ours had broken at the cap. I replaced it with a plastic version of a similar type. The other still okay. I would have considered the Siphon but none were readily available.Jim

The cap keeps water, debris, and small animals out of the pipe. <smile> In my Twin King I always have my head in the toilet. (some want say I have it there all the time) When I open the drivers window having forgot to close the toilet lid I can tell what is in the black/gray tank very fast. 1 Likes
