Leprechaun at the gas pumps
We have seen more than a few gas moochers, but I think a barefoot Leprechaun takes the cake.
Had his own can.

Tats don't have to be expensive, you can do it yourself.

Watched a PBS documentary recently on Pacific Islander tattoo traditions.
The design work is very interesting .
The tattoo themselves by hand, using simple tools. Looked painful.

I’ve been approached at the pumps by people carrying everything from a milk jug (!) to a paint can to a plastic bucket, but none in leprechaun garb! I must look like a soft touch! Looks can be deceiving.

Haven’t had the pleasure in a couple of decades, but when I was younger, and my brain worked faster, I would just look at them quizzically, and say a nonsensically-sounding phrase with a lilt at the end like a question, and then just wait, repeating PRN until they gave up and walked away.

Virtual hugs,

Oh, I do that now, but it's seldom intentional!  ;)

Steve, I thought that at first glance but a closer look reveals the leprechuan(ette) is sporting some chin hair.  It could just be part of the disguise, though.  Those creatures are tricksters!

Well, I have offered to fill the gas can for them, just to see how many colors their faces turn  ;)
