1999 lazy daze
Hello, I am new to this site. I have owned 2 lazy daze in the past and am looking to buy another one. What can you tell me about the engine in a 1999 26 foot model. Would I be better off getting a newer lazy daze? Does anyone know of anyone selling a 26 ft. Rear bath model? Thank you in advance for your help. Jeff

Hello Jeff and welcome to the Lazy Daze Owners' Forum.  I missed seeing your earlier post and questions and hope you're continuing to hang around the neighborhood.  The engine in the 1999 26.5 LD was a  Ford E450 chassis, 265 HP/6.8 liter/415 c.i.d. V10 engine, electronic fuel injection, and had an optional Power Stroke diesel V8, with a 4R100 4-speed auto transmission.  This information comes from the Lazy Daze Pocket Guide developed by Andy Baird.  The link to that information can be found on the front page of this Forum and Lazy Daze Pocket Guide .

You might consider posting a WTB ad in the LDO Forum classified section with a list of specifics.   Hope some of information is useful to you.  We look forward to hearing more about your LD search and even perhaps your previous history with LD.
