Where is water inlet on a '98 30 IB?
Hi
I have a 1998 30 ft Lazy Daze.  I have owned it for a year and have yet to take her dry camping.  So I have never filled the water tanks.  I have misplaced my manual and need to know where the water tank inlet is.  I see two places to hook a hose on the rear drivers side of the rig.  Any advice while I track down the manual.

Try the two spots you see.  The water tank fill ususally has a 1/4" vent hole to vent air and a pipe large enough toinsert a hose.

Should be rear driver's side, about eye level for a shorter person. Look for square approx. 5" x 5" hinged door which opens with the compartment key. The inlet is covered with a round screw on/off cap, usually tethered to the inlet. The hose is not "hooked" to the inlet. It is inserted. This is the way it works on my '02 30'.

    Hi Katemaria; After a year, you haven't used the sink or toilet while not hooked up to an external pressurized  water source? The water by now could be pretty umm, undesireable. You will want to sanitize the tank (only one) especially if there was water in it. To do that you will also need to find the drain. Sometimes that quarter turn valve can be hard to locate.  Chris?
    Well, I thought the tank was under the bed, and the filler was on the back of the motorhome, more towards the driver side of center. Must have been another floor plan.... the 26.5 IB??    RonB

Hmmmm...on my '98 IB, the one on the drivers side is for hooking up to shore water..[direct input from a hose, so no need for your water holding tank]. My fill input port is on the back end, drivers side...door which needs a key to open, then a screw on cap that opens the input port]. I don't have another on the side   ??? The tank fill port does NOT have a connection to hook up a hose. It is behind a small keyed door, and requires some sort of hose attachment you can insert into the port. As others have said, look on this site to find tank sanitizing procedure, then once water is in the tank, test out your water pump to make certain it still works.
