A funny thing happened to me at the LD factory in Montclair
So, there I am, hanging out at the factory while they work on my rig. I tried walking down the street to McDonald's to get a bite and hang out with my dog, but security checked me out to make sure I wasn't homeless. Yeah, I wasn't dressed for prom. I decided to go back to the factory and wait. All of a sudden, a man walked in dressed about as well as I was dressed, and we started chatting. A very nice man, talking about politics, socioeconomic outlook, dogs, etc. I was concerned for him because he was spending so much time with me. I thought he might get in trouble. We must have talked for an hour. I thought sure he was going to be reprimanded. We said our goodbyes. I told Vince what a nice man he was. He made a joke about it. I mentioned I hoped he wouldn't get in trouble. He was laughing because I'd been chatting with the owner! Ed <rip>(Steve:-) came back in and was smiling.  A very nice and smart man. I understood then why Lazy Daze is made so well.  Ed <rip>(Steve:-) Newton wouldn't have it any other way.

One small correction, you met Steve, son of Ed.
Ed has been gone for a very long time.
His spirit may still be around.

Ed passed away March 19, 2014. When I walk into the place, I can hear Ed's voice saying "Whaddaya need that for!?"; yes, still there.....  ;)

I like the place. They just take care of business. Vince is the LD guru there. He knew every detail about my old shorty.  I'm so grateful for all the support here and in Montclair. I've called Montclair more than a few times.😶🙄

Thanks for the "Ed" (rip) correction.😶

Welcome back, Mimi. After all the flurry of activity on this forum last summer, we've wondered how you are faring in your Lazy Daze. How about an update? Highlights? Lowlights?
