Free magazines.
No internet connection to play with at night?
Read a magazine.

We have a very comprehensive library in our County. In addition to on-line classes, audiobooks, videos, music, eBooks, etc., they have free, downloadable, eMagazines you can read. Perhaps your library offers such a service.

There is a app called RBdigital that downloads and organizes your selection.

I just counted and locally, there are 111 magazine choices including National Geographic going back to 1888. Searchable for topics of interest. Consumer Reports, Popular Mechanics, cooking magazines, on and on.

When getting ready for a trip, I download all magazines of interest and resist the temptation to read them at home. An educational  evening pastime.

Or you could watch reruns of The Swamp People or The Simpsons🤦🏼‍♂️

Enjoy
Ed

Thanks for the info, Ed!  So do you need a Kindle or some such device to download magazines?

At least not with our library. Pretty much any device will work. Have no idea about any other library.
