Generator access?? February 07, 2018, 02:06:35 pm I want to change my spark plugs and see no way of getting to the second one in the back.Does the bottom skid plate act also as a support plate for the generator?If not can I remove it to gain access?

Reply #4 – February 07, 2018, 04:50:55 pm I have not changed the Emerald spark plugs on my '88 MB, but would a 3/8" drive spark plug deep socket with an external hex drive and an open end wrench do the rear spark plug removal trick? I have one in my Sears Companion socket set from 50 years past. Larry probably knows this answer!
