Battery Monitor Install
I will be installing a Clipper BM-1 battery monitor.

Would this be a handy location (in yellow) since it's directly adjacent to the batteries?

Yes, that would be the simplest place to locate the monitor. Not real convenient to look at.
I personally like to have the monitor where it can be seen while seated but mounted by the door is a place you often pass.

Would you be able to easily see it mounted so low to the floor?  I'd prefer it closer to eye level if possible.  I mounted my Victron BMV-700 next to the stove hood on my MB.

My idea is that I don't need to constantly be watching it and for convenience of installing.

On second thought...my "man chair" is the passenger seat flipped around so I can look at it a lot...😂
