Re: Solar Panels Reply #26 – February 04, 2018, 03:18:47 am A combination of this thread and a small drop in prices got me to purchase a couple 100w Renology panels off of Amazon a few months sooner than planned. For some reason they were going to charge me shipping for one panel, but shipping two panels was free. I also ordered a couple panels off of eBay, but that transaction may or may not go through (way cheap and no seller feedback). PayPal and eBay seller protections are about the only reasons I gave it a shot. We’ll see how much power I can get this summer from them.

Though the way they're depleting the Ogallalah Aquifer for irrigating across the Great Plains, some folks in Kansas have had their wells run dry. Amazing--thx for sharing.Lynne
Re: Solar Panels Reply #30 – February 05, 2018, 10:39:42 am Last year there was a News Bite on TV that showed a company setting up a Water Capturing device at the LA Coliseum, I believe. I don’t recall the power source, but they claimed to have achieved similar results of capturing about 5 litres of water from the air in one day. Larger arrays could be set up for apartment complexes perhaps. You won’t be reviving your lawn with it but perhaps a small garden and drinking water would be feasible.Kent
