If the details are well-done, that's a reasonable deal. And from the pics, it can tow way more than 4k.

It has only one door.  It is laid out like a small class A.
It has two doors.
It's a toy hauler, the back end has a big roll-up door.
None of the photos show what the rear of theinteriror looks like.
It could use a new set of window shades.

The GM Futurliner is an amazing vehicle. I think we’ve seen this on LDO before.

Classic vehicles can garner a lot of attention and some big bucks.

There were only a handful of Futurliners built as showpieces for GM. Some brought back from the graveyard. Just another reason to take care of our treasured LD’s.

Sat in the driver's seat of one of these this past summer.  It's up there, for sure. Interesting electrical systems, but pretty basic layout otherwise.  Dually front wheels will make a man out of you.

There was also a re-build featured on a TV show a year or so ago.  Not a super-artful restoration, but more along the lines of a Monster Garage thing, although they did try to make the final result at least look appropriate.

Chip,

No speeding away in that beast. I believe top speed was between 25 and 35 mph. Certainly not a great get away car, but you sure would make the nightly news.

Sadly, made in Photoshop, not a workshop.  But still cool.

Is it bad that I want one of these just so I can see the look on everyone's face when I drive into a lake?

Keep buying those lotto tickets,  one unit is a bit less than the mothership's annual output.
The looks you want to see are the ones when you drive OUT of the lake!   :D

Wow making the wife ride in the trailer lol. Guess you wouldn’t have to hear complaints about your driving.

Here's one I ran across at a classic car race at Put-In-Bay last year:

Here's one you don't come across very often anymore- retro camper that would make a nice project!
1956 Sports King Camper - rvs - by owner - vehicle automotive sale

$7000 for a "project' is a lot of money for a camper with a rotted ceiling, leaky corners, leaking windows and indications of water damage at the rear of the benches, floor level. You can be sure there is more hidden damage.
Matching the existing paneling could be difficult.
It wouldn't look right on a modern truck, so add in the cost of mid-fifties classic pickup.

Caveat emptor .
