where's the zerks?
I'm changing the oil on my 2116 MB and while under there I'm finding no zerks to grease.    Are there any?     Frank

None unless you have them installed, which is a very good idea...

I can only speak to my ‘15 TK, and to no other rig,  but there are either 5 or 6 zerk fittings on the steering linkage.
I give them two pumps of grease every other oil change being careful not to blow the seals.

Went over to the storage place today and while I was there, took a look at the zerk fittings.
I said there were 5 or 6.
I was wrong, in fact there are just four.
I’m not a mechanic but looking at a drawing on Google, it looks like two of them, one on each side, are the ball joints.
The other two are in the center of the rig around the steering damper.

The ones on the ball joints and one of them near the steering damper are very hard to see laying on the ground looking up. You pretty much just have clean away the grime and feel them.  One of the zercs  near the steering damper is in such a tight spot, I had to buy a new grease gun with a very small tip in order to get it attached.

Here are pictures of two of them.

It’s strange but when I was Googling about the zerks, I got a number of hits from different RV forums. Some owners of similar year E-450 Fords said there were no zerks, some said there were.
Wonder why the difference?

Our '09 LD also has four (4) zerks in the same spots as describe above.  In fact, I need to make sure they get a spot of grease sooner rather than later.

Have your mechanic install zerk fittings on the upper and lower ball joints.
Give them a shot of grease every time the front end is lubed.

105,000 miles on tight, original ball joints.
Original tie rod ends too.
Keep them lubed for a long life.

What's the secret to getting the grease gun removed from the fitting? I know I had an issue in the past and don't recall the answer to that.

Wouldn’t call it a secret, but if one gets stubborn, i slip a putty knife between the tip of the grease gun and whatever the zerk is attached to and give it a twist. The grease fitting pops off.
