I'm sure we have all seen some pretty crazy and interesting transportation related things in our travels; it's only a matter of time, right?

Two years ago we went to the Philippines and got the opportunity to tour the northern part of Luzon (the main island where Manila is).  We saw some pretty crazy stuff, especially in the rural areas.  Got these representative photos of the type of things seen there.  Glad it was a light load!

Heading back to Luzon, with a couple of days in Hong Kong, in November so I'll try to get some more shots of stuff like this while there.

I have actually seen sights like this on the Alaskan State Ferry.
It may be a thing of the past but at one time, the height limit was very high and vehicles paid according to their overall length.
