It is really confusing when some sellers don't really know what they do have.    RonB
I guess we forget that, on the forum, we are dealing with a more informed group. Many buy an LD on whim or inherit one.
When they dump it, they don't know much about the details.

Coming to Live Oak?

Even the greenest of neophytes should know at a glance that if there are no side windows on an overhead cab it's either a 30' or shorter coach with an entertainment unit. Using the Mothership's designations would eliminate a whole lot of confusion!   ::)

Funny that even with many years of awareness of Lazy Daze, I never noticed the lack of overcab windows on the models with the entertainment center. But then again, papa always told me I wasn't the sharpest tool in the shed!  :D

Volcano is in the Sierra Foothills, in the gold country.

The possible reason it might get such good mileage is that it has a diesel engine…?

That is indeed possible. The diesel is the infamous 6.0L Powerstroke, and this, Ford's attempt to replace the venerable Navistar engine was still plagued with issues in 2004. An engine with some potentially costly repairs that are almost inevitable before 100,000 miles, it earned the nickname "Powerchoke".

I loved my 2005. Strong, reliable, strong, and getting over 16MPG.

2013 31IB in Kalamazoo! Traditional striping to boot:

2013 Lazy Daze 31 ISLAND BED, Kalamazoo MI - - RVtrader.com

Just FYI I have been in contact with the seller of this coach.  I am fairly sure this coach was owned by a member of the Yahoo Group until his passing last year and was his second LD.  The seller (late owner's son) has been working with Vince at LD to make sure the coach systems are all working.  It has been stored indoors since the owner's passing.

We thought hard about this coach - it's even the right color (just like our '99 30IB was); we're just being pulled in a slightly different direction right now.

ETA - annnnndddd.....  I typed too soon.  We are back to thinking hard about it.

Michelle,

Always room in the fold for one more. Better act quickly...you know how LD's are...pristine rigs can be as rare as hen's teeth. 🐥

How about a LD toad, for your DP?
A Remco driveshaft disconnect kit would make it flat towable.
