Thanks Larry,  It was many years ago so I am sure that's where they put us.  We were in a LD and our friends in a Lance camper.    We had been camping at Montana de Oro and just were at MB for one night before heading home, ---  no sites so they told us to use the parking lot which we paid for.    Too bad they had to quit doing that, it was a nice location.

We live in Santa Barbara county so easy to come up just for the day, will put on my calendar and hope to see you all there.
The Morro Bay GTG will have two "Open House" days, Friday and Saturday mornings, between 9-11 am.
Both Friday and Saturday will have lunchtime "tech talks', held at noon.

One morning, Joan Taylor will be going one of her famous 'walks around the rig' where she introduces newbies, and those who have not been paying attention, to the basics of RV operation and care. In the past, this was a talk she gave primarily to other women, new to the RV lifestyle.
Joan is a great teacher, thirty years in the classroom honed her skills.

By the way, how will us newcomers know which rigs will be open for viewing and talking to the owners? I would hate to knock on some unsuspecting owner sand annoy them!

The exterior "porch" light by the entry door is left on by those who welcome visitors.

Thank you, Larry.  ;)  Doing a "round the rig" show and tell for those new to LDs (and/or RVing) is always fun for me. All those new to LDs or who are "inexperienced" RVers or perhaps just have some basic questions, are welcome to come to site #70 on Friday morning at 10:00.  (Let's hope for an all-around rain-free get-together!)

Great, kinda like Motel 6's motto, "We'll leave the light on for ya!"

Huh, I didn't know that. I've always just left the door open and had plenty of visitors. I'll use both this year!  😉  -- Jon

Sorry we will miss your talk on Friday, Joan, as we will only be there Saturday morning for the open house. Hopefully we'll at least run into you so we can put names to faces!

Looking forward to meeting many other Forum Folks!
