Toilet Seat Replacement
First, let's be perfectly clear.  I'm no kind of potty expert.  :)   Nevertheless, we've found a perfect replacement for the OME toilet seat which is the Bemis Model # 521EC 006 at Home Depot for $18.97, which is at least $20-$30 less than the price for the Sealand seat.  After careful examination, we can't tell the difference except of the type of hinges.  The color match is spot-on.  The link to the Home Depot Bemis seat is BEMIS Lift-Off Never Loosens Round Closed Front Toilet Seat in Bone-521EC....  We hope this information might be helpful.

So Ed, was this a late Christmas present or an early Valentine's day gift?  :)

I commend you for choosing a Bemis toilet seat, and particularly such a nice fit for the LD toilet. I have been using Bemis seats for years, not only in my house but the Lazy Daze as well, although I chose an elongated open front lid-less seat. Yeah, I know, sounds weird but it sure fits my butt.   :D

As an aside, have you noticed that many hospitals also use the Bemis products in their facilities?

It's one thing to say that the seat fits the toilet but it's quite another to say that the seat fits the hindermost part of one's anatomy.    8)  ;)

Good memory and you get an A+.  LOL

Late Christmas present ... it was a long search to find a replacement in the color Bone.  Bone is such a weird name for a color.   Btw, on-line stores wanted too much for an OEM replacement (plus shipping).   So we searched locally after our on-line searches didn't pan out.   Persistence finally paid dividends.
