Option to replace aluminum section panels? January 21, 2017, 11:35:04 am Lady and Gents,I recently purchased a used Lazy Daze and I was wondering if any of you LDOs had ever had LD factory replaced the aluminum section panels. ... and if you had LD factory work on your lazy daze, can you share what part of the panels were placed and the price you paid for those replacements. Thank youVery Respectfully,Dave

Reply #1 – January 21, 2017, 11:59:12 am IMO, this question would be better answered by calling Vince at the factory and detailing to him exactly what you want/need to be "replaced". He is in the best position (the only position, again IMO) to say "yay" or "nay" on feasibility and costs. YMMV, of course.Joan 1 Likes
Re: Option to replace aluminum section panels? Reply #2 – January 21, 2017, 12:34:56 pm Repairs that require replacement of aluminum panels are expensive, once the painting and end caps are added in. If the panels are beyond repair, LD has the equipment to fabricate replacement panels, something many body shops will not be able to doLD does good work and is the preferred place to have major repairs done. The prices are fair but at the top end of the scale.Twelve years ago, our near new LD needed one, short panel replaced, it cost $1800 and looks original.Larry 1 Likes

Last year I took a uhaul trailer hitch through the bottom of my coach door. Vince worked his usual magic and two weeks later and $435 you would never know it had been repaired. Kent 1 Likes
