Boston, Boston, who's got a Boston
I'll qualify this thread by saying that Lazy Daze Owners are very astute and discerning pet owners!

Suddenly we are seeing more and more Avatars featuring Boston Terriers. My "Jiggs" (named for the lead character in the old comic strip "Bringing Up Father", the main characters of which were named Jiggs and Maggie was, in my opinion, the perfect dog. He was so intuitive I swear that he knew what I was thinking before it had become a solid thought. He was eight years old when I lost him to a bad case of Bronchitis contacted from the dust covering an area of chipmunk and ground squirrel habitat, the denizens of which he loved to chase. He sits on my mantle today, waiting until I decide to cross Rainbow Bridge.   :'(

Sorry for the loss of your best buddy, Steve. I don't have one but a good friend of mine from church has three. They are some of the friendliest, most playful dogs I have ever seen! He always gets rescue dogs from Boston Buddies in Huntington Beach.

Toby is in the avatar. Tuxedo and Dolly are on the mantle. They were a big reason we got our LD as we wanted to travel with them. They loved camping and Toby loves it too. 🙃

Didn't think I could have another after losing the first two but we missed having a duffer underfoot so we got Toby through a rescue. He is a smart and loving dog but he goes crazy when the doorbell rings!!!

I don't have one, but I have known quite a few.  They're great dogs, and absolutely fearless.  If I ever wanted a small dog they'd be high on the list.

As my screen name implies we have 3 boston terriers in our family, and a 4th on the mantle and in our hearts.

Darwin was the first, and still with us 11.5 years later. We got him as a puppy from a breeder. Next came Bruno a few months after Dar, from a local shelter, given up by his owners and still a puppy too. He is the big camping fan and a big reason for the LD, he is also 11.5 and we can't count on much more time for these adventures. A few years later we happened to be at the local shelter and discovered another boston that we later adopted, Cousteau. He was a great dog, a sweetheart with huge personality, and gone too soon. He got very ill last year and despite heroic efforts we couldn't save him. A few months after his passing, while perusing petfinder, I came across a boston at the Pasadena humane society. Somehow the line of adopters fell through and Renner came to live with us last December. Unfortunately he's old and not in good health, oh and it turns out he hates traveling! So our nanny will petsit Renner whenever we travel, so I guess we're a 3 boston family but only a 2 boston family on the road.

I dug up a few photos of the boys, Renner by himself and the original trio with Cousteau on the left, Darwin in the middle and Bruno on the right.

You guys are killing me with your cute Bostons.  We are down to 3 dogs and they are the reason we wanted to make the move from our little travel trailer to; not a 23.5 but to a 26.5 Lazy Daze.

What a sweet picture of love.  Those guys communicate right through the camera - I could imagine a thought balloon over each head, including Daddy!  ;->  Everyone looks so happy!!!  A great way to go through life!!!

I'm thinking Pete and Ollie are twin brothers from different mothers with our departed Tux and Dolly!

PS - While looking for pictures on a stick I found our old pictures from the Cheyenne 2006 50th anniversary event. I took a video of all the LD's from the top of our Ruby but the file is too large to upload here. Rats!
