broken drawer glide November 18, 2016, 07:43:56 pm Hi Group;For the third time a draw track has broken at the back wall where the track is attached. Not sure of my terminology but each draw has a glide (on the bottom of the draw) that fits into a track. the tracks are one piece with a right angle bend at the back where 2 screws attach the track to the back wall. We phoned Lazy Daze yesterday and they want $51.39 for the part. They will not sell just the track. One buys the complete set of a glide and the track. the price seems steep to me. Any ideas as to how I can buy or fabricate just the track?We left NY last Sunday and reached Florida today. Down to T-shirt and shorts!Stay warm,Mike Lewis

The track usually breaks where it has a right-angle bend at the wall. The bracket is used to hold together the track and its broken-off back piece (see photo). 6 Likes

One buys the complete set of a glide and the track."----Interesting; the L-shaped bracket (screws into the wall) on one of the drawers in my LD broke about a year ago; I was able to order just the bracket, not the whole track and slide assembly (that's on the bottom of the drawer). The bracket was $11-something with shipping. Joan

So, still no credit cards. Your receipt will probably be a carbon copy, don't expect an email receipt. Since they wait till they get the check before shipping.Jim

She would make carbon copies of all her business coorespondances. I've found carbon copies of letters she had typed to her brother and European cousins dating back to the 40's. Very quaint. I got a replacement part from them too as I ordered it before doing the repair work. What confuses me is that Todd claims that the track and right angle bracket have always been two pieces!!! Their order did have two pieces: the track and the right angle bracket. My coach is a 2007 so maybe things were different in the past? However, Todd said that it has always been 2 pieces...Mike

The standard drawer bracket (could the moderators please correct the name of this topic from "draw" to "drawer"?) actually does comprise two pieces: a long track that contains the ball-bearing glide, and a short right-angle bracket at the back. It's the bracket that usually breaks, and that's where I substitute a simple angle bracket.
