I actually think that is the one we bought in February!

...and now we're ready to sell again. :/

Had it inspected, engine was perfect with ~47k miles, all systems working great except for the dash air, which we fixed. Brought it home and put on brand-new Michelin tires with Chuck the Tireman's valve stems. Replaced the windshield, which had a crack. Got a tune-up on the generator from a certified-Onan shop and they replaced the fuel filter. Found a leak in the front cab:  had it sealed (they Eternabond-ed the entire roof); they pulled out the damaged wood; reinforced the roof with aluminum; installed new insulation; and covered it all up to look at good as new. We took a month and a half trip from Chicago to the Pacific with the kids this summer...

...and they HATED it. They didn't just hate it a little. They were absolutely miserable.   :'(

On the upside, they now completely appreciate our modest home; and treasure their time with friends. The downside is that - for my own sanity - I'll need to wait a little longer for my mobile dream ;)

If anyone is interested, please feel free to contact me at tobey_day@yahoo.com. Upon our return, we also got new back brakes and the oil changed.

The whole kit and kaboodle is included; all brand new:
*Progressive Industries PT30C 30 Amp Portable Electrical Management System
*Classic Accessories 80-223-172302-00 White 32" - 34.5" Diameter x 9" Width RV Deluxe Wheel Cover, (Pack of 4)
*Camco 39761 RhinoFLEX 15' RV Sewer Hose Kit with Swivel Fittings
*brand new 30 amp electrical cords, including dogbone adapters
*2 sets of Tri-Lynx 00015 Lynx Levelers, (Pack of 10) (one set is new)
*Camco 22833 Premium Drinking Water Hose (5/8"ID x 25') - Lead Free
*Camco 40045 TastePURE KDF Water Filter - 2 pack
*Camco 22484 Water Bandit - Lead Free
*water pressure regulator

As well as a rug, a folding table for outside, drawers to make better use of the wardrobe - even the flatware; towels - everything. One would literally be able to turn on the fridge, start the engine, fill the fridge with food and head out camping.

As for me? I'm looking at the brand new models of Lazy Daze, because in 10 years when my son goes off to college, it will be one of this year's models that I buy and finally get to drive off into the sunset! ;)

I'm sorry this didn't work out for you, but your story makes the best argument for a trial run on a short trip with a rental RV before buying a rig! If one person in the rig/on the trip is unhappy, everybody is unhappy, and whole experience (for everyone!) becomes one of endurance instead of enjoyment! (Been there, done that; never again! )  :(

Good luck with the sale!

I think a lady from Florida posted within the past couple of weeks that she was looking for a used rig.  You might want to seek out her post and message her.

Tobey, thanks for sharing your experience. We are enthusiasts here, so everything is always some level of great. You remind us we camp to have a happy family experience, and no matter how much dad likes it, if someone else don't, it's all bad.

In our family it was mom. A city girl. With a country hubby and 3 wild boys. Dad taught us all a life lesson when he showed us how to make mom happy. He turned a '57 Ford wagon into as plush a camp as can be, and made it a point to improve the "outfit" every year, until, 30 years later, she got a motor home. I proud to say my son is following the same course with his bride.

Best of luck to you Tobey, keep the faith
