After both of mine were stolen, I installed the Cat Strap on them both. So far I have not been pranked twice although I know of people who have been hit numerous times and numerous friends who have been hit at least once.I had these installed by my local car repairman... https://youtu.be/4twiRnYVvVYCheap insurance. Re: Catalytic Converter Thievery Reply #4 – September 13, 2016, 10:43:30 am When I purchased mine they were $150 and I had them installed ($50 each) although you can do it yourself if you can get under the vehicle. You may want a mechanic to do the work due to the "fibers" drifting down on you from the strap. Pretty straight forward. The alarm(s) are just clipped to the battery. Be sure to start your vehicle once a week to keep the truck battery charged unless it's on your rig with solar.About ready to order one for my LD. That Cat is HUGE. Should come with fangs.Kent
