Solar Lights August 02, 2016, 11:22:20 pm OK, with the thread regarding "camp or glamp" I have to share with you all my stay-at-home summer project. I live in Southern New Mexico, so of course I love anything regarding solar power. In between paying some much needed attention to my town-home, I've been "re-purposing" solar lights. I've been going to thrift stores and finding accessories and jars that fit solar lights. I like to buy the ones from Harbor Freight, since they have glass globes (as opposed to plastic) and don't deteriorate in the sun. I always use at least a 20% off coupon, and get a freebee like a flashlight, etc... I use E6000 glue which you can find at Wal*Mart for about $3.00.Solar Brushed Nickel LED Path Lights - 2 PieceUsing a little imagination, you can make beautiful nighttime lighting for the area outside your RV. The solar lights are really functional as well as pretty! 4 Likes
