The Opposite of an Elegant LD
I was reading about a family that just purchased a 2010 King Aire.  I've never been inside a King Aire but the following cut and paste from their post "blew my mind!"

I already know that I'm going to have to research wifi options but this unit came with 16 (!) remotes and about two pounds of manuals just for the sound system so it will take some time to even figure out how to get the tV's to work.

Sixteen (16) remotes!   Frankly at this stage of life, neither DW nor I would want to travel in the company of 16 remotes.   And that's all I got say about that!

But given your earlier confession about reading glasses--& my continuing experience with keys--multiples might not be a bad thing...   ;)

If you lose or misplace all 16 remotes your SOL! Guess you'll have to leave the inside of your rig and enjoy the beautiful sights around you.  ;)

A friend is looking at a Winnebago 'B'. [He would never consider an LD, as he seems to like getting his RV's serviced a LOT. He takes it every year to the mfg for something]
Anyhow, he showed us the video on it and we noted that a major feature is that USB ports are through the rig.
Yep, that's a selling point.

While cooling our heels at a RV service center (where we got no service) we walked through a few rigs. One was a used Dynamax. I judged by the exterior that it must have lots room or storage space. It was 30-something long and had maybe half the storage space of our MB. With only a double bed, I could not sleep in it or stand in the shower.

We looked at a new Avion with a bunk that sides out the rear.  We have seen prison cells (on TV) that were not as spartan as this rig. The list price was $140,000.

The LD is a 60 year design that beats latest designs. I mean how many ways are there to position beds and kitchens in 200 square feet?
