2015 Ford recall.
If you have a LD with a 2015 chassis on order, be aware there is a recall you will want to find out about.
It's an Emission recall. 15E05.
Seems the software controlling some part of the emissions system needs an update.

Had the recall done today.
It's the Powertrain Control Module. Had to be reprogrammed. Took about an hour and a half.
The local Ford dealer does not service RV's because the lifts they have are not designed for the weights involved.
However, per the service writer, they are required by Ford to perform recall (and specifically not warranty) work if the required work is within the capabilities of their facility. Since this recall didn't require a lift, they did the work.
So, if you have recall work, and your neighborhood Ford dealer doesn't typically service RV's, they may well have to take care of you.

Just got the notice on my 2011. Good to know the local Ford dealer will be forced to do it.

Hi

How did your LD run after the fix?  Any change in gas mileage?  We got our notice and making arrangements for the repair now.  We just wondered if our mileage will suffer as a result.

I don't keep track of my mileage. It is what it is.

I saw no change in engine performance at all.
