Receiving Messages as Emails May 12, 2016, 02:45:15 pm I still can't figure out how to receive messages as emails. I followed earlier instructions, but that seemed to apply to "notifications". So now I receive emails notifying me that someone has posted to a forum that I'm "following", but I still need to log onto the web site to see the posting.Help (and thanks in advance) /noel/
Re: Receiving Messages as Emails Reply #1 – May 12, 2016, 02:48:27 pm Be sure to place a check mark next to "When sending email notifications, send the full text of the post in the email " ... and then Save SettingsWithout that you get just the notification with out the post text.
Re: Receiving Messages as Emails Reply #2 – May 14, 2016, 08:18:09 pm Thanks, Steve. I made the suggested change and now get the posting via email, rather than just a notification. However, the postings close with a note like this one:Posting Information:Larry Wade replied to the topic '35-40 MPH Gusts ' on the 'Around the Campfire' Board.More replies may be posted, but you won't receive any more notifications until you read the topic. You can reply to this email and have it posted as a reply. If this means what I think it means, then I won't get all postings via email, only the first in the thread (unless I go to the web site to "read" the OP. That seems to defeat the purpose of being able to reading postings as emails.
