Welcome to the new Lazy Daze Owners' Forum. Dig in. Play around. Test all the bells and whistles. Post any questions you may have.

Chris
Thank you Chris and team. What a great job you've done, and the switch was very easy. Looking forward to learning the new system, which I follow every day even though I seldom post.

Great job! This is very nice to use, compared to most of the other forum software out there, and it's a HUGE improvement over the Yahoo interface.

Oh my. The difference is incredible. I had struggled with Yahoo for many years and almost gave up.

This will make the forum so much better in many ways.

Thanks to all for the hard work behind the curtain.

It feels great to be back in the fold. After being locked out by AOL & Yahoo, I was sorely missing the group as I replied via email.

Thanks to all of you for making this transition a success. I'm looking forward to getting back into the mix. You have done a wonderful job in making this happen.

Thanks to Steve, Michelle and Chris for doing so much work on transferring to the new site.
All I did was look was to wander around, trying various functions to see if they worked in a understandable way,  just like the rest of the test crew.
It now feels much different,  going live adds a whole new dimension, over the sample site

Steve and Michelle have provided fast and accurate IT support way beyond anything I ever saw at work.
Thanks again

Works great from an iPhone. Which is how I read most of the time now.

Had some trouble getting into the yahoo group for instructions. Seems to kick you out where it hadn't before. That said the glitch was how yahoo registered my ID/email.

Getting in here was very easy. Thanks again for all the hard work!!!  8)

I would encourage everyone to put in an avatar!  Speaking only for myself, I think it makes it much easier to recognize posters instead of trying to remember the name under the avatar.

This new forum is a huge improvement over Yahoo!.  Registration was simple and smooth.  Thank you to to the team that made it possible - Steve, Michelle, Chris, Judie, and anyone else I may have forgotten. I read the forum online and it's so nice not to see all of the ads and clutter that is Yahoo!.  If there are expenses involved with maintaining the site I would be happy to donate.

Jean - thank you, the forum is actually self-supporting through affiliate links (basically, if someone buys an item from an Amazon link posted, Amazon pays us a tiny referral fee and it's used towards site hosting costs and software fees.)  It costs nothing to members and doesn't affect item pricing.  From experience with Foreforums, it nets out very close to our personal out of pocket costs for a forum's website; if there's an excess it's maybe enough to buy a latte and a scone at the end of the year  :)

We do ask members to be considerate and not post their own affiliate links (including via services like Bitly) here as it explicitly takes funding away from the forum.

Good that you brought this up, members should be aware of how the forum is funded and what they can do to contribute.
I use a lot of links for tools and parts and will make an effort to pick  Amazon links, when given a choice.

Thanks, Jo. Steve helped me with the lingo. Speaking of lingo, just for grins, look up "in like Flynn" and check out its derivation. It's a fun read.
