Kicking tyres
Just had to start a new topic.  Here is a picture of our Lazy Daze just after I got it four years ago followed by one from a recent camping trip.   Not that I am a good photographer, just wanted to try using the feature.

Nice Pix!  As I roam the new site, "kicking tyres," gotta say I like the map function.  Helps me get a sense of where folks are--though I do have a question:  Larry, you are known for all sorts of wizardry...your pin on the map seems in a wet location--have you modified your LD so it's amphibious?  Are you anchored, or just drifting along the shore? :D

I was a bit anxious about the changes, given my limited technoliteracy, but this is fun!

Lynn, thanks for mentioning the map feature.  This morning while away from the house I was able to play with it some. It is suprisingly easy to use and will be nice way to update my general location when on the road.  I was using my cellphone so it was a good practice session for when I'm on the road. Well not while driving, but camped somewhere.

Actually, I'm on dry land.
I have reset the location twice but it keeps drifting out to sea.
Wonder is there is a message here?

Larry (and anyone else),

When you place your member pin (and you don't have to be exact if you prefer to remain somewhat an  "international member of mystery"  ;)  ), don't forget to scroll down the page and click "Change Profile" for the pin (and any other changes you make) to "stick".

Actually, Larry, it shows you in Encino. You'll need to enlarge the map so you can see your cul de sac before "placing" your pin.  Jon
(Former) ‘06 TK “Albatross.” And (former) Vespa 250.   Alas, no more; both are gone.😕 Great memories remain! 😄

I pinned my location as close as I could get, but since nobody knows where San Jose is anyway, it probably doesn't matter!  ;)

There is no way I would pinpoint my location. I wouldn't recommend any one indicate their exact address.
Too easy for social media savvy thieves to figure when you are not at home, if any indication of being gone is mentioned.
Not to say that there are dishonest LD owners, but why take the chance?
My friends know where to find me.

Staying hidden until it's safe to come out.

As I continue "kicking tyres," I've been lost & found in cyberspace due to a typo when dropping my Yahoo email & replacing with my regular one.  Someone mentioned the NE rally being on the calendar, so just now went to the calendar to refresh my memory about the Ladeze GTG in September--the calendar apparently automatically posts birthdays from the info on our profiles...how cool is that!

Couldn't figure out how to post on the calendar yet, but found Lauralee's announcement for four nights beginning September 6, so it's on my personal calendar.
