A little hint for any who haven't yet noted this:

Don't bother with a locking bike rack, nor locking to something easy to cut or damage such as a ladder. Lock directly to the m'home frame or attachment. E.g., lock to the bumper. On our step bumper, the holes for the towing security chains work great. With two bikes on our rack, we lock one wheel to the bumper with a Kryptonite bike lock, run a heavy-duty bike-lock cable through all bike parts including that wheel, and secure with the other lock.

Steve, thanks for that advice. I'm sure I would have chained my bike to the ladder 'cause it's just so handy. Well, not now. Will use the bumper as you suggested. Thanks again, Sarah
