Title: Sources for wheel jam nuts for 2005 26' mid bath?
Post by: David Gardner on February 26, 2025, 07:55:32 pm
Hi everyone,

Over the years I've managed to lose a few of the wheel jam nuts from the wheels (fake lug nuts on the wheel covers). I've used up all the spare wheel nuts I had and now my RV repair guys says he can't find any replacements. Wondering if any of you know of a source for finding these. This is for my 2005 26' Midbath.

BTW, my last post many moons ago about my kitchen faucet that had very little water flow is being replace. Not sure that is the problem, but it doesn't seem to be anything else. Updates later.

Thanks,
David G

Hi David; Depending on the length of the lug studs in the 2005 year (Ford), they changed, and the method of attaching the stud lengtheners changed.  Amazon.com: Kaper II L-100 Polished Stainless Steel 41mm Lug Cover, 12 Pack (https://www.amazon.com/Kaper-II-L-100-Polished-Stainless/dp/B017YS89XU?th=1)   Best to call Kaper II and get the right part number.

Now that San Diego has internet back, I could review previous posts!  You still have restricted flow from your kitchen faucet with the spray head off, so it sounds like the internal valves are plugged up. Sounds like a build up of debris in the faucet. If that is a single handle valve, then the water flow is through a single valve body. Since you are good about cleaning out your water heater, maybe a washer or something internal moved around inside the valve body. Replacement may be the easiest. I would take the old one apart to see what could be done.   RonB

Thanks for the info Ron I will look into this. Also, I believe you are correct about the faucet. It is being replaced as we speak.
