Title: What tool do I need to tighten toilet seat nut
Post by: curlyblue on January 10, 2025, 08:15:40 pm
I have a 2004 26.5 ft LD and I replaced my toilet seat and lid and it moves around. I need to tighten the nuts underneath there but it's extremely difficult to reach it either by hand or with a wrench or pliers. Anybody have any ideas of what tool I need or how to do it? Basin wrench? You're supposed to tighten it until it snaps off.

Perhaps something along these lines?

McMaster-Carr (https://www.mcmaster.com/products/confined-space-wrenches/)

I think I used a socket and an extension. Maybe had a wiggle on it. Just have to kinda' do it by feel.
