The gasket that seals the entry door on my 2013 Mid-bath is deteriorating. This gasket is made of rubber and was probably white to start with. I (think that I) have attached photos that show the channel around the door frame where the gasket resides, and the gasket itself. The gasket is a "C" shape, and 3/4" wide. There are four long sheet metal screws through it into the exterior wall, one at each corner. The opening of the "C" is against the channel in which the gasket resides. The third photo is what the gasket looks like when installed. The fourth photo is looking at the back (hidden) side.
I didn't find any references to this gasket in the LD Companion. I found two references Entry door foam seal has become brittle...best product to replace it (https://www.lazydazeowners.com/index.php?topic=35102.0) in the LD Owners Forum (this forum) that describe a foam seal that doesn't sound like mine. My gasket is not any type of foam - it is solid (not a tube) and appears to be rubber (or some kind of rubbery material).
Has anyone found a source or a substitute for this gasket? I am skeptical that foam would be substantial enough to do the job of keeping the metal door from riding against the metal door frame.

This is for the coach entry door, not the cab doors.

I used this the last time the coach door's weatherstripping was replaced.

Hi Keith; This is standard vinyl screw cover strip. Many older RV's, mine is certainly in that group, use this on the outside to cover screws, often without any through holes to keep in place.
This strip usually comes in rolls, and can be really flexible, or a stiffer version that is more like what you need. 1" RV Vinyl Insert White Heavy Duty Screw Cover - RecPro (https://recpro.com/1-rv-vinyl-insert-white-heavy-duty-screw-cover/?srsltid=AfmBOophA6vRjKg7BhRafnrzU9bDOka7PWPfBdc8SDG_FFxuAy-7Rb-w) Amazon probably carries it also. I had some for my old motorhome but gave it to a friend with a Thor trailer.
Some of these trims are very thin (cheap?) and some are thicker. I couldn't find any descriptions of which is which. Here is an Amazon version: https://www.amazon.com/Molding-RV-Camper-Travel-Trailer/dp/B0BRJ5SQPN/ref=sr_1_4?crid=7KA5BDT6MHJS&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.8OFhXFbjazHOcM2MYYNI0dqWZJpdH4EiIusM8X4DgGmHFKrx9yE3PQnVossFLjvRFW3SBMS35NWllAJqT8TNSlKY8dT68yK5oulXCxow0cw7IBMoOjIXRUbbnjQooBibLsVC6dy1UkLVy5lFEVYM3SC3mR8ASjq5Z4ojBMmfAP4sYLOXS3gyoV5etnN95zLO9XVQzfMPxMPJ7Qi3Xt5i6hlzNxX5VxNIw-Y3Ytqy7y18GzFOQ1jlORzaL8AavCA1tygeHAUm1HpEFWXyvlrZEjnzydT180f6W6i9p4TMcIo.V66jLATy1UozOozuHTEnQQVTkyqnh5E43_m_1f2NS5k&dib_tag=se&keywords=rv%2Bvinyl%2Bscrew%2Bcover%2Bstrip&qid=1730911115&sprefix=rv%2Bvinyl%2Bscrew%2Bcover%2Bstrip%2Caps%2C179&sr=8-4&th=1 RonB
This is the weather stripping that was previously recommended for the coach door... is it wrong now?
(I bought two orders of it!)

The plastic pieces shown in the photos and that Ron linked to are cosmetic trim, not a gasket. The weather stripping does not touch them. The rubber gasket on the door frame contacts the rubber weatherstripping on the door.
The rubber gasket Kristin listed is the same weatherstripping I use and can be bought at Home Depot.

Hi Kristen; The foam 'D' cross section seals you posted just keep the screen door from rattling, and keeps bugs out.
The ones listed for Keith are just cover strips around the outside of the door frame. Different applications, different purposes. RonB
Well, that's good, since I bought TWO orders of each: The foam gasket Frost King Available R534H Sponge Rubber Foam Tape 5/16-Inch, Black, 3/4" W,... (https://amz.run/9nvu)
AND the foam D cross section seals listed above. Both were needed.

The rubber gasket that was deteriorating around the coach entry door was actually the screw cover that fits into a channel around the door. It is not involved in sealing the door itself - just covering the screw heads of the door mounting. It was somewhat difficult to force it into the channel, but yielded to persistence.
