Just noticed that Li Time has a new battery. Not sure if it would fit in the LD battery box. Any thoughts?

All LDs come with a sealed plastic battery box to keep fumes from the lead-acid batteries out of the interior.
Lithium batteries do not outgas, making the plastic box unnecessary. The battery box can be removed to provide extra space for additional batteries. This can be done with a vibratory tool, equipped a saw blade, to cut the box away at its base.
