Title: Kitchen window
Post by: Olde English on August 31, 2024, 09:29:29 pm
Am I just lucky or did LD put all the kitchen windows in backwards ?
So I’m washing the outfit today when I noticed that the sliding portion of the kitchen window is at the front of the assembly and not at the rear.
Never seen this before on any of the coaches and trailers I’ve ever owned.

If you’re saying the kitchen window behind the sink on the left side (from inside) slides to the right, then that’s how our 2009 MB works.  Hope this helps.

Sorry Ed to be confusing
It’s the right side that slides in my kitchen hence the backwards comment.

Ours slide from rear to the front.  I think all the windows in our LD slide from the rear to the front. Only one I am not sure of is the bathroom.

The midbath's kitchen window was installed so that the left side opens. I believe this was done so that wind would not blow out the stove burners, as could happen if the right (stove) side were open. Since the stock stovetop lacks flame sensors, if that happened there'd be raw propane gushing out.
