Title: Readout Display
Post by: atallthinman on August 20, 2024, 08:51:33 pm
We have a 2000 24-foot Lazy Daze.  And the readout display for the tank levels suddenly is not working.  Nothing lights up.  It is located on the front of the stove vent hood.

1.  Does anybody know what could be the problem?

2.  And does anybody know how to even get into that area to see inside?

Thank you in advance. 👍
UPDATE Solved this. When I turned on the water heater it would not work and I found a blown fuse. The readout display then worked too. It was not marked so I did not realize the water heater fuse also controlled the readout display. I hope this helps someone else.
I still do not know how you would get in to check the wiring there if that had been the issue.

With judicious prying around the edges the entire display will pop out of it's surroundings.   ;D

Don't just pry around the edges; you're likely to break the plastic tabs that hold it in place. Instead, slide the display panel straight upward about half an inch, then gently tilt the bottom toward you and remove the panel.

Here's what it looks like. You can see the tabs in the closeup.
