Post by: spartan11 on December 24, 2022, 11:09:04 pm
I will be an owner of my LD 3 yrs come January. I have decided I am one big back to back project not counting the projects that over lap.
Such joy.

Hi Mar;  Yes I know how you feel. I keep running into things I didn't know about. There is always something!  I had a list within the first year of things I wanted to 'fix' or add. After 22, nearly 23 years, I still have some of those items pending.  And I've added things I never thought about originally.
The best items I've added, are the LED lighting inside and out. Next best is a tire monitor to assure me what the real-time tire pressures are. Upgrading the radio upon receipt of the new rig, was planned way before we got our 'TK. Next is the solar panels, enough to make them a real factor in battery usage, (450 Watts) along with Lithium batteries, with enough capacity to be significant. (400+ AH). I'm sure there are more than 100 'tweaks' of little things, or maybe larger additions.  I have a mental list of things I've added, modified or subtracted over the years. Some were ill advised, or didn't solve the problems as well as I wanted. But hey! still a work in progress. (Both me and the rig)  RonB

And a Merry Christmas to All on this Christmas morning.
