Title: Proof of Dry/Unladen Weight for 1997 26.5 RB
Post by: gcp on October 27, 2022, 04:03:28 pm
I just purchased a LD and I'm trying to track down a picture or scan of original Lazy Daze brochure, marketing materials, or manual that indicates the dry weight of a 26.5 RB built in 1997. Does anyone have that, or know where I can find it? The archived version of the LD website doesn't go back to 1997 unfortunately. Thanks for any help you can offer!

It should be on the sticker on the doorframe. If you're doing this for title purposes, (at least in Texas) they forced me to get a cat scale receipt which I got at a Loves gas station.

Just fyi my '94 23.5 RL was about 12000 lbs but I didn't feel like unpacking and emptying all the tanks for this.

Here are the 1996 and 1998 factory spec sheets, from Terry Tanner's collection. For some reason I don't have 1997, but I don't think the weight changed in this period. Hope this helps!

Hahah I wouldn’t have wanted to empty it all either. Forgot about the sticker, thank you!
