Does anyone know what this plastic tube is coming out at the base of the Winegard satellite antenna? I noticed it is deteriorating.
It's a water drain tube of some sort. Sorry I can't remember how it functions. Perhaps a parts manual for the sat antenna will tell you. One time in the 19 years of ownership of my 30' I had a very small drip from the sat antenna control in the LD - the antenna adjustment. And it happened after a severe rainstorm. I'm not sure if the water in Lake Newton backed up into that tube and dripped into the LD or not. It was a mystery.

May I add for maybe the newbies on this great forum that "Lake Newton" is the name given to the water which pools on the flat roof of any Lazy Daze ever built because of it's flat roof. And "Lake Newton" is named for the most recognizable name associated with Lazy Daze, Ed Newton.

Thanks, Chris. I do have the manual so will take a look. I don’t intend to ever use the factory installed manual satellite unit but want to keep it in working order.
