Title: Wanting to tour a Lazy Daze in the Boise area
Post by: John! on March 10, 2021, 12:22:59 pm
We are hoping to do some full-time RVing later this year, and are very impressed by what we have read about Lazy Dazes. We would like to tour one in the Boise area to see they meet our needs before we start trying to find one to buy. Specifically, we are thinking we would want a 1997+ 26' MB. So if you are in the Boise area with one, or even happen to be passing through, we would love to buy you some beer, or wine, or cookies, or whatever you are into if you would let us tour your Lazy Daze!

John, I have an '08 MB.  If all goes as planned, some time late May I hope to be traveling 84 east past Boise.  Most likely, I will stop for the night at either the Walmart in Mountain Home, or in a local park in Emmet, or near Anderson Ranch Dam off Rt 20 NE of Mountain Home.  I have been fulltiming in my rig since Nov. 2008 and would be happy to show you what I can if you can wait that long.

I will be towing my Subaru, so I really dislike coming into urban areas while traveling.

If any of the above work for you, message me around May 18 and we can make firm plans.

Sounds great, Ken! I'll message you then and see if we can meet up. We'd be more than happy to meet you at any of those places. Thank you!

John, sounds good.  A little more for your thinking...

If we choose Emmet, I will plan on 2 nights there so you will have the whole day for as much info as you can stand.  The spot near Anderson Ranch Dam is several miles north of Rt 20.  I would park just before the drop down to the dam, and I can stay there for two nights, again giving you lots of time.  The Walmart in Mountain Home is one night only, and I have learned that, sometimes, local regulations are passed that prohibit overnight stays.  Were I to encounter that, I would just continue north on 20 to the dam.

The most convenient for me is Mountain Home.  The Dam makes for a LOOONG day for me.  Emmet is convenient, and takes me through Stanley.  So, all are workable.
