I asked this in the Winterizing thread but didn’t yet get a response so will start a new topic as I need to know in the next couple days. Is there any issue removing the mounting screws for the converter unit and sliding it out six inches or so to facilitate access to the outlet side of the water pump? My big hands could use the extra space!
Electrically, the converter only runs when there is a power source such as being plugged in or running the generator, correct? Does the solar controller have any bearing on the converter or should the solar fuse be pulled?
You are good to pull it out.
I removed ours in our older Mid Bath. It actually pulled out and set on the floor it gave me plenty of room to access the pump. Seems like I had to remove a couple wire loom clamps.

You do not have to pull any fuses, but bear in mind that the entire 12V loom also passes through the converter, and will be active, unless you disconnect the batteries and pull the solar fuse. if you disconnect 12V, the fridge will stop, even in gas mode.

Thanks, Steve. I don’t have the refrigerator running right now so that’s not a concern. I do have the battery disconnect switch and actually tested it yesterday so I know that it works so perhaps I’ll do that and pull the fuse for the solar just to be double safe. I would hate to blow up my new-to-me RV!

One path gives one a bit more time to escape the LD. At least that is my observation.
